SALARY RANGE: 
$250,000 - $300,000
This salary range is an hourly exempt (exempt from overtime) position. Benefits are provided in addition to the salary range.

Description

This is a full-time position that requires 50% travel. The other 50% can be either in Stevensville, Maryland or remote. This position will include extended travel of 4-6 weeks to locations in Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. 50% travel to operationally relevant areas of interest.
  2. Provide field engineering (sensor and communications integration, networking, software development) support, assistance, and guidance to armed forces members.
  3. Provide training and demonstration on relevant technologies
  4. Plans and leads major technology assignments
  5. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
  6. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software


Requirements and Qualifications
  1. High-school diploma or equivalent
  2. 5 or more years of experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Javascript, Java, C/C++, Go, Rust
  3. Deep understanding of the OSI model with a focus on TCP/IP
  4. Experience with MANET such as Silvus / Tresllisware / MPU5
  5. Understanding of tactical software such as TAK, and,  TRAX
  6. Thorough knowledge of Azure cloud and hybrid cloud-based technologies
  7. Experience communicating with end users in high stress environments
