DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time position and work is performed at a customer location. The Corporate IT Specialist will be the single point of contact for all corporate IT needs in a growing team of 30-50 employees. Your mission: keep people productive, data secure, and asses fully accounted for - from the moment a new hire signs their offer to the day equipment is sustainably retired.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years managing corporate IT for SMBs or startup environments.
Hands-on expertise with modern endpoint management (Intune, Maas 360, or equivalent).
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
Strong understanding of network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Experience scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate routine tasks.
Excellent organizational skills; ability to juggle procurement, support tickets, and projects concurrently.
Customer-service mindset with clear, concise communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement & Lifecycle: Evaluate, quote, and purchase laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and SaaS licenses. Track warranties and refresh cycles; coordinate RMA / returns.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Provision and deprovision accounts (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SaaS apps, SSO), ensuring least-privilege access and complete revocation on departure.
Inventory & Storage: Maintain an accurate hardware/software CMDB. Organize secure storage for spares and returned devices; run quarterly audits.
Endpoint Management & Patching: Administer MDM/EMM (e.g., Intune, Maas 360,). Enforce OS and application patch cadence; validate compliance reports.
User Support: Deliver Tier-1/2 deskside and remote support, escalating vendors when required. Develop self-help knowledge base articles.
Security & Policy: Implement MFA, disk encryption, and device compliance policies. Participate in annual risk assessments and incident response tabletop exercises.
Process Improvement: Automate rote tasks with scripts or low-code tools; document SOPs; measure and report on SLAs/KPIs.
Desired certification:
Exposure to Azure AD (Entra ID) conditional access and SSO integrations.
Experience overseeing IT for partially remote/hybrid teams.
