Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This position’s focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.
Position Required Skills
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
- Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Position Desired Skills
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration
Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $175K - $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
