ISSO levels I and II - TS/SCI with poly required

We are seeking ISSO levels I and II- TS/SCI with poly required

ISSO Level 1 – Entry-Level

Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 per year

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant IT or cybersecurity experience, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, requiring at least an IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and enforcement of information systems security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the operational security posture for assigned systems.
  • Assist in managing security aspects of information systems and perform daily security operations.
  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support certification and accreditation processes.
  • Manage configuration changes and assess their security impact.
  • Prepare and review security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessment Reports.
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with applicable frameworks.

ISSO Level 2 – Mid to Senior-Level

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000 per year

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related discipline with 12 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, requiring IAM Level II or IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an ISSO supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with  Polygraph.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of information systems security policies and methodologies.
  • Maintain and enhance the operational security posture for complex information systems.
  • Manage security aspects and daily operations of information systems.
  • Evaluate and implement security solutions to meet classified information processing requirements.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments and support certification and accreditation processes.
  • Oversee configuration management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Assess and manage the security impact of system changes.
  • Prepare and review extensive security documentation, including SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, and System Requirement

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $95,000 – $175,000 annually.
