B2B Growth and Sales Consultant

At Power3 Solutions, we are seeking a part-time Strategic Sales and Growth Consultant to join our team and support growth initiatives for building business-to-business (B2B) opportunities. The ideal candidate will have contacts and relationships with federal and state government agencies. Must have excellent negotiation skills and be familiar with how to best leverage our contracts with clients for long-term stability and growth.
 

Power3 currently provides highly skilled consultants who support various fractional business support services, including recruiting, human resources, contract management, web design, and social media marketing. Our main client base is federal contractors, and much of our skill set is geared toward technology, defense and intelligence, aerospace, life sciences, and related industries. However, we would like to provide our services to other similar industries. This role will be part of a dynamic team that values your expertise and offers you the opportunity to be a leader and have input on our goals and outcomes for growth.
 

Title: B2B Growth and Sales Consultant

Location: Remote, with occasional travel within the MD/DC/VA area for networking

Job Type: W2 with optional 1099 arrangement. W2 status comes with 401k match and prorated PTO. Hours are negotiable, though part-time is preferred. Rate range projected at $40 - $50 per hour with a commission plan and a discretionary end-of-the-year bonus.  

You'll be instrumental in expanding our footprint as a business solutions company. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in our niche market and similar industries.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop tailored solutions that address client's unique business solutions challenges.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform our strategic approach.
  • Build and track leads using Copper, our Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tool. 

 

What We're Looking For:

A results-driven individual with a proven track record of success in business development. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new customers, meet sales goals, and close complex deals. Manage and maintain a pipeline aligned with corporate sales objectives. Analyze sales data to identify trends and evaluate performance.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex solutions and close deals primarily with companies for long-term contracts
  • Support the team in marketing and lead generation by developing and executing campaigns, as well as engaging in cold calling and prospecting through phone, email, social media, and other channels.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for driving growth
  • Conceptual plans and initiatives that can stabilize our Client contracts
  • Ability to shape and package services to clients in a way that promotes sales
  • Build high-value relationships with target industries throughout the country
  • Minimum of five years of experience selling B2B services
  • Capable of managing and maximizing Customer Relationships Management (CRM)
  • Capable of learning our capabilities and effectively communicating business solution services to clients
  • Willing to attend local events for networking opportunities

 

The position is a work-from-home opportunity with flexibility and autonomy within the timeline parameters. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent, and possess excellent communication skills. Our team will meet with Clients during regular business hours, so we need all team members to be available for calls and virtual meetings.
