Title: SME Software Integration Engineer
Clearance Required: TS/SCI

DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time position and work is performed at a customer location. The SME Software Integration Engineer is responsible for informing product decisions using an understanding of data pipeline techniques and issues. Including Application Programming Interface (API) access and integration; pre-processing; cloud security, process, and schema optimization; and pros and cons of programming languages and associated packages.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Directs and encourages the Engineering Team toward prompt delivery of best-in-class technical solutions.
  • Leverages or builds cloud-based architectures, technologies, and/or platforms to deliver optimized solutions at scale.
  • Communicates with the Technical Project Manager(s) to interpret customer requirements and assign engineering tasks accordingly.
  • Collaborates with the Technical Project Manager(s) and team members to architect solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Designs and develops cloud-based software solutions designed to ingest and process data from various sources.
  • Contributes to solutions that provide predictive models with raw data.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
  • Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
  • May supervise others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum experience required: 12 years.
  • May be substituted for a: HighSchool degree and 16 years of experience OR an Associates and 14 years of experience.
  • A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
  • A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
Required:
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Desired:
  • 4 years of experience in DoD systems development.
