DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time position and work is performed at a customer location. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, analyzing, and develops software systems. The Senior Software Engineer also designs, analyzes, and develops the software delivery processes (including DevOps pipelines).

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Models and analyzes the software development and deployment processes.
  • Engages with Government leaders in defining the context, problem space, and vision to determine capabilities, priorities, roadmaps, Transformation Plans, and next steps.
  • Develops Agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum experience required: 9 years.
  • May be substituted for a: HighSchool degree and 13 years of experience OR an Associates and 11 years of experience.
  • A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
  • A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
Desired:
  • 4 years of experience in DoD systems development.
