Java Developer II

We are looking for a Java Developer II to use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT. 

  
Your Main Objective:​
  • Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
  • Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.
  • Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.
  • Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites.
  • Research and work with AWS and other platforms for development.
  • Work in a cohesive, small team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with poly
  • 5+years of relatable experience
  • Strong Java skills, developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 – 5+)
  • Experience with Java Pig, MapReduce
  • Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, etc.
  • Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (No SQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Tables, etc.
  • Experience with Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS)
  • Experience with AWS

    • o Sabre is committed to increasing and improving our employees’ skills. Each employee has an annual allowance of $5,000 to spend on job-related courses and professional training. We also provide a $500 annual allowance for purchasing technical books, professional memberships, and subscriptions.
