Location: Linthicum, MD

Job Description

We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to support the Cybersecurity Intelligence Team (CIT) TTO which provides normalization of cyber security data and automation of cyber threat intelligence. This position is part of an operations support team responsible for system administration support across CIT.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, learn new tasks over time and have the experience with the following:
  • Running security scans (STE/STN Support)
  • Support onsite ISSO with STE/STN Support
  • Linux system administration
  • Some minor Windows system administration
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
  • Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
  • Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
  • Provisioning virtual machine resources
  • Ability to navigate Command Line Interface (CLI)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve SA related issues.
  • TPAM for account management
  • Planned and unplanned outage coordination (use or Outage Manager (OME)
  • Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes containerization (not required but would be nice to have)
