Title: SRE System Administrator IV (HPC)
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD 

Description: The SRE System Administration IV (HPC) role with Tulzi Technologies, LLC will create, and maintain operations of site reliability engineering (SRE) efforts on multi-user High Performance Computing HPC) using a variety of configuration management, IT monitoring, and automation tools within a Linux environment (RedHat, CentOS). This critical role will work to create a new Nagios Alerting Data, new SRE Database, and develop an effective consistent SRE automation protocol


Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field and (10) years of demonstrable experience in High Performance Computing Systems administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise. 
  • Experience and/or exposure in Automation tools including Puppet, Salt, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Experience and/or exposure in Scripting in Bash, Python, and/or Perl

In addition to the above requirements the System Administration IV (HPC) must have the following qualifications required by the relevant TTO:

Installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administration of:

  • XFS/ZFS File Systems
  • NFS Block Storage FS Sharing: SSH, TMUX, PDSH, CLUSH, system access;VI, EMACS, AWK/SES, CRON system editing; and Nagios, Gang;ia, SNMP information and technology monitoring systems. 
  • IAT II Certification required, candidates without required certification will not be considered
