Required Skills:

• Strong Java skills and experience.
• High level of coding experience, Full Life Cycle, designing, maintaining.
• Solid understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM, Agile methodologies, JIRA, GIT, Confluence and the Atlassian Tool Suite).
• Work experience with Cloud: Distributed Scalable Big Data Store such as CloudBase/Acumulo, Big Table; MapReduce
• Work experience with technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS; Serialization such as JSON or BSON

Highly Desired Skills:

• GHOSTMACHINE, QTA experience or Cloud development and operational environments.
• MapReduce and Pig experience.
• Ability to debug software and correct defects

Education and Certifications

• 14+ yrs experience as an engineer of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• TS/SCI with polygraph

Pay Range is determined by various factors such as education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements; negotiable based on elected total compensation packages which include but not limited to paid time off, healthcare elections, and retirement. The projected compensation range for this position is $210,000.00 to $125,000.00
